Variant Readout Desk
A teaching block for product pairs who already ship feature flags and still cannot write a readout they would sign in front of finance. Informational tuition: THB 41,800 per seat. No checkout on this site.
Who it is for
Analysts, PMs, and the occasional founder who can get a warehouse export. You do not need a statistics degree. You do need a live or recent feature test, even a messy one. If you have never named a flag, take Sample Size Without Theatre first or wait until you have one.
Learning outcomes
- Write an MDE and primary metric before first exposure, and defend both when the chart goes the other way.
- Place at least one guardrail in the readout header — refunds, crashes, or support volume — not in a footnote.
- Design a runtime that respects Thai holidays and tourism weeks instead of averaging them away.
- Explain CUPED-style variance reduction in one hallway sentence, without pretending you invented it.

A limitation we do not hide
Variant Readout Desk will not invent demand. If the feature is a badge nobody needed, a clean MDE and a pretty guardrail table will not make it a product. We have turned away founders who wanted the desk to launder a roadmap. We will do it again.
Homework assumes warehouse access within the first fortnight. If your company cannot grant it, say so in the enquiry; we will suggest a later intake rather than watch you fall behind.

Questions we actually get
Do I need to code?
You need to read an export and write SQL or a notebook at the level of simple aggregations. Faculty will not pair-program your warehouse. PMs who cannot query still succeed if they sit with an analyst for homework.
Is the letter of completion a certification?
No. It confirms you finished the memo lab and the holdout clinic. We do not run an exam and we do not license a credential. If a recruiter asks, send them a redacted memo instead.
Can I take this fully remote?
Yes. Remote seats join the Phuket morning slot. Recordings cover missed sessions for ten days. Floor Week is a different product if you need faculty on site.
What if my last test already shipped?
Bring it. Modules 10–11 are built for post-hoc honesty. We would rather rewrite a shipped readout than invent a fictional flag.
Will this work outside Thailand?
The method travels. The calendar examples are Thai by default. Teams in other markets still use the memo structure; they swap in their own holidays. We will not pretend a US weekday traffic shape is the global default.
What will this desk not fix?
A broken taxonomy, a product nobody wanted, and a culture that rewards green screenshots. We will name those limits in week one. If that is your real problem, the short desks will not paper over it either.
